About the Role
Balfour Beatty is seeking a talented Site Engineer to join our Regional Civils team on our Apollo project in Bridgwater. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role on a major infrastructure scheme while working with one of the UKs leading construction and infrastructure companies. As a Site Engineer, you will support the delivery of the Apollo project by ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain programme schedules and technical compliance.
What you'll be doing
As a Site Engineer you will:
* Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project requirements
* Ensuring works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
* Supporting the site management team with planning and coordination of activities
* Maintaining accurate site records, reports, and documentation
* Monitoring subcontractor performance and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
* Assisting with quality assurance processes and inspections.
Who We're Looking For
* Previous experience working as a Site Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects
* Strong setting out and surveying skills
* Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices on site
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or similar preferred).
