Job Overview
We are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic, and friendly individual to join our dynamic, fast-paced Day Surgery Theatre Suite as a Trainee Peri-operative Assistant.
Our surgical specialties include Maxillo Facial, ENT, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Trauma, Gynaecology, Urology, Ophthalmology, and Plastic Surgery.

Working Hours and Environment
Hours are scheduled to meet service needs, primarily Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work across all sites in Fife. The role involves working within theatre and recovery environments.
Training and Support
We provide a comprehensive induction program supported by three Clinical Educators and a part-time Education Coordinator. Theatres are fast-paced environments that require teamwork and resilience.
Additional Information
This is a Trainee position under Annex 21, with training lasting more than one year but less than two years. Salary is 75% of the band maximum of the qualified rate for the duration of training.
