We're supporting a leading organisation in the UK live music sector in hiring an experienced Promoter Assistant (Associate Level) to work closely with a senior promoter on the delivery of shows and tours across a diverse range of venues, from club-level to large-scale concert settings.

not an entry-level position
This role is designed for someone with existing experience in live music promotion or touring operations, who is ready to take on more autonomy, manage up when needed, and grow into a future promoter role through close mentorship from a highly respected industry figure.
You'll sit at the core of the promotions operation - driving communication between departments, keeping projects on track, and ensuring precision across administration, logistics, marketing and ticketing.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Assist with venue and date research, routing checks and show confirmations
* Support budget preparation, financial tracking and settlements
* Coordinate contracts, calendars, travel and logistics on behalf of the Promoter
* Contribute to marketing campaign setup, artwork coordination and asset management
* Monitor ticket sales and performance data, flagging opportunities or risks
* Oversee guest lists, hospitality and ticket allocations
* Act as a trusted point of contact for artist teams, agents and venue partners
* Attend live events when required and assist operationally on show days
* Delegate and coordinate with junior assistants where necessary
The Ideal Candidate:
* Have proven experience within live events or music, ideally on the promotion, artist liaison, touring or programming side
* Can operate confidently with senior stakeholders, managing upwards when needed
* Are highly organised, process-driven and detail-focused
* Communicate clearly and professionally across teams
* Can stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly and independently
* Are flexible with working hours – you may need to work on an evening or weekends as part of this role
* Enjoy both behind-the-scenes coordination and being hands-on at shows
