Facilities Coordinator – Onsite | £30,000–£35,000 | 6–9 Month Fixed-Term Contract Location: Berkshire We’re hiring for an organised and proactive Facilities Coordinator to join a growing organisation in the scientific manufacturing sector. This is an onsite role based in Berkshire supporting a busy laboratory and manufacturing environment. You'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by coordinating maintenance, managing health and safety records, and helping prepare for an upcoming site relocation. About the Role As a key support to the Health & Safety and Facilities Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating maintenance, liaising with contractors, issuing PPE, and helping manage internal processes like rotas and training records. Your work will directly impact staff safety, equipment availability, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule supplier service visits and contractor access Maintain equipment logs and issue equipment numbers for new assets Support rota planning for fire marshals and other safety functions Book and track external training for staff Maintain PPE records and issue equipment to staff and new starters Help manage internal health and safety records Support the business during a planned site relocation Perform general administrative and coordination duties as needed What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a facilities, office, or operations support role Strong organisational and time management skills Confident communicator with a calm, common-sense approach Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) Awareness of health and safety procedures (desirable) Proactive, reliable, and adaptable to changing priorities Salary, Benefits & Location Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience) Contract: 6–9 month fixed-term, with potential for extension Location: Onsite in Ascot Hours: Full-time, standard office hours (flexibility may be required) Environment: Office and laboratory setting (some areas may require PPE) Ready to Apply?
