Role Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional clinical care to all patients, including exotic species, through both consultations and surgical procedures
* Deliver clear, compassionate communication with clients, offering thorough updates and care plans
* Maintain high regulatory, clinical, and operational standards across all aspects of care
* Prepare accurate and tailored treatment plans, including transparent cost estimates
* Mentor and support junior staff and colleagues, encouraging continuous development
* Take part in clinical handovers and assist with the transfer of patients needing enhanced or out-of-hours care
* Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement within the clinical team
Candidate Requirements:
* RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
* Experience or special interest in exotic species is essential
* Confident in delivering high-quality care in both general and exotic medicine
* Demonstrates clinical leadership and team collaboration
* Able to support and coach colleagues, including nurses in schedule 3 procedures
* Brings a positive, proactive approach to evolving clinical culture and practice development
* Committed to delivering exceptional client and patient care at every touchpoint
