Senior Business Development Manager - IT Managed Services
This team is very successful, driven and loves a challenge. They work with some of our biggest clients across the group and have provided IT solutions to a range of high profile clients and projects.
We are looking for determined individuals who’d like to reimagine their future in a rapidly expanding company. This is a great chance for a New Business Sales Consultant to join a growing team with a strong culture of self-discipline and enthusiasm. You will generate, manage and close brand new IT managed Services business deals for us. Our commission structure allows you the opportunity to earn 100% of bonus and this is paid after the deal is signed. This is a key hire for our organisation with endless opportunities for the right individual.
The Requirements
This role will be responsible for building multi-level relationships within the assigned IT Managed Service accounts to win Net New Business
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will identify new opportunities through a combination of self-generation activities and also working closely with our Marketing team
* Nurturing leads through the sales cycle and owning them from initial engagement all the way through to closure
* Drive Co-Sell and Cross-Sell sales motions with partners, consultants, and colleagues across the group to generate pipeline
* Develop win strategies for your key deals, in alignment with the Value Selling Sales Methodology
* Work with the Sales Director and Marketing team to develop value propositions, and to plan and execute campaigns
* Write and/or contribute to proposals, papers, business cases, ROI analyses, or any other collateral that may be needed as part of the sales cycle
* Coordinate virtual bid teams (with support from Pre-Sales and Bid Management), to ensure high quality output and alignment to win strategy
* Work with the Sales Director and Pre-Sales to create commercial models that align to our win strategy whilst also ensuring we achieve our target margins on each deal
* Contribute to the contract negotiations on successful bids, working alongside the Sales Director and our in-house legal team
* Understand the competitive landscape and any relevant trends within our marketplace, so that we can ensure our value propositions remain relevant
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5+ years selling IT Managed Services solutions to the UK mid-market
* Will have strong negotiation and closing skills
* A proven track-record of success in B2B new business sales, within a complex client portfolio
* The ability to innovate and challenge conventional thinking to push the boundaries of established practice
* The ability to develop and articulate a clear win strategy and USP's
* Experience of Co-Sell (with partners) and Cross-Sell (internally across the wider group) motions would be advantageous
* Experience of selling into both public and private sector is advantageous
* A good negotiator; comfortable working with C-Level stakeholders
* A technology/service enthusiast who can evangelise the value of our solutions to achieve success
* Driven and motivated to hit target
* Understanding of the following propositions:
* Service Desk (ITIL processes and Service Management)
* Cloud (Microsoft Azure and Private Cloud)
* Cyber Security
* Microsoft Modern Work (M365 & Win10/11)
