Casual Bar Staff Required
Location: Weddings & Events across the Midlands

Job Purpose
To assist with the service of bar and beverage requirements at a wide range of weddings and events. You will help set up, serve, and clear down bar areas, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Duties
* Assist with the setting up of bars at a variety of venues, as per client requirements.
* Oversee and serve drinks packages as advised by the administration team.
* Work collaboratively with bar staff, catering teams, and the Event Manager.
* Support stock control processes, both at the unit and on-site, ensuring accurate records are kept.
* Manage wastage effectively at each event.
* Assist with preparing stock orders and handling deliveries.
* Operate tills, handle cash and card payments, and complete accurate cashing up procedures.
* Ensure bar areas are clean, well-presented, and fully stocked throughout service.
* Carry out a full clean down of the bar area and equipment at the end of each event.
* Ensure compliance with UK Licensing Laws, including Challenge 21.
* Participate in training and development opportunities.
* Uphold the high service standards and values of Saffron Catering at all times.

* Previous experience in bar service, ideally within events or outside catering
* A positive, professional, and flexible attitude.
* Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to exceed client expectations.
* Ability to stay organised and calm under pressure, with great attention to detail.
* Team player with the confidence to also work independently.
* Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and unsociable hours when required.
* Dedication to supporting colleagues and contributing to a strong team culture.
