Role
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll own end-to-end hiring across the business. You’ll partner closely with leadership, shape our hiring strategy, and ensure we bring in top talent at pace — without compromising on quality.
You’ll be instrumental in building strong talent pipelines, delivering an excellent candidate experience, and helping define what great hiring looks like at Narwhal.
Responsibilities
* Own full-cycle recruitment across multiple functions (from brief to offer)
* Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements and hiring strategy
* Proactively source and engage high-quality candidates (LinkedIn, networks, referrals, etc.)
* Lead hiring across the UK and internationally
* Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
* Manage and continuously improve the candidate experience from first touch through to onboarding
* Support employer branding and hiring campaigns to attract top talent
* Use data and insights to continuously improve hiring performance
* Maintain a consistently high bar for talent aligned with our culture and values
Qualifications
* Proven experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment (in-house or agency)
* Experience hiring across multiple functions in a fast-paced environment
* Strong sourcing capability — you know how to find and engage top talent
* Experience hiring in the UK and internationally
* Confident stakeholder management — able to challenge, influence and guide hiring decisions
* Excellent communication and candidate management skills
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously
* A bias for action — you move quickly and deliver
* Experience in a start-up or scaling business
* Experience hiring for tech, product or commercial roles
* Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g. Workable, CharlieHR, LinkedIn Recruiter)
* Interest in employer branding and talent community building
* A data-driven approach to recruitment
