An experienced Senior Surveyor is required to support a local authority estates team.
The role will focus on maintaining continuity across the property portfolio, managing a varied caseload, and supporting the wider team to ensure service delivery is maintained.
Key responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of estates and property matters
Handling lease events, acquisitions, disposals, and general estate management
Supporting junior surveyors and contributing to team stability
Maintaining momentum across live projects and caseloads
Contract details:
Contract length: Initial 3-6 months, with potential to extend
Rate: £500 per day (inside IR35)
Working pattern: Full-time
Office attendance: Hybrid working - 2 days per week on-site
Experience required:
MRICS (essential)
Strong local authority estates experience
Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently
Confident stakeholder and member engagement
This interim role would suit a Senior Surveyor able to start quickly and provide immediate, hands-on support while longer-term arrangements are put in place.
