The Nuclear Fuel Logistics Business Development Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining and operating the Global Logistics Nuclear Fuel Logistics Business Development strategy and process. This position will include primary responsibility for Relationship Management of the key global strategic nuclear fuel transport suppliers. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills are required to manage internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Your Day-to-Day:
1. Lead the Global Logistics Nuclear Fuel Logistics Project Management program from inception to operational execution, ensuring project outcomes and deliverables (cost estimates, quotations, proposals) are met in a timely manner and in line with quality standards.
2. Manage relationships between Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel project managers that require transportation, packaging, and regulatory services, ensuring early planning and costing with Global Logistics (GSCS) and supplier contract agreements.
3. Coordinate with Nuclear Fuel Transport representatives at fabrication sites, Business Project Managers, Customer Engineers, and provide scope for all projects.
4. Prepare and communicate project milestones, updates, and risks to stakeholders.
5. Provide strategic guidance and support to Category Leads and Project Managers supporting Nuclear Fuel Transport Projects.
6. Manage workload, resource allocation, and resolve obstacles up to operational execution.
7. Interface with external customers to support business unit leaders.
8. Contribute to LOA inputs for Nuclear Logistics Scope, including costs, supplier options, packaging, and logistics plans.
9. Create scope language for nuclear fuel sales contracts.
10. Review the Business Plan to identify transportation, packaging, and regulatory needs, integrating these into a Global Logistics Support Plan aligned with overall business objectives.
11. Manage risk assessments for Nuclear Fuel Transport projects.
12. Advise on Global Sourcing and Supplier Management aspects, including creating contracts and agreements for packaging and transport projects.
Who you are:
* BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
* At least 3 years of procurement or global transport experience.
* Strong negotiation, benchmarking, market analysis, and project procurement skills.
* Experience with vendor management and supplier contracts.
* Ability to analyze quantitative data and draw conclusions.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to engage at all levels and maintain relationships.
* Professional dispute resolution skills.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
* Creative problem-solving, time management, and planning skills.
* Ability to develop long-term relationships with suppliers (SRM).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database management.
* Willingness to travel up to 10%.
