What is the role?
The “Marketing Coordinator – Tiling” role is a key central role within the marketing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a positive, hands on and energetic marketeer who wants to develop their career by joining a small marketing team operating in the highly competitive construction industry.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing you’ll be required to fulfil a broad marketing role, supporting a comprehensive product range, launching innovative products and services, and helping to deliver integrated marketing campaigns to professional end-users, distribution partners and other stakeholders.
As part of a small, dynamic team, you’ll have opportunities to develop your role and help drive the direction of our brands within the Tiling division.
Job Specification – Main Responsibilities
* Support the marketing team in delivering the marketing and commercial roadmap
* Support the product management and NPD process by helping to research new opportunities, and administer the scoping process (new product set up, trial codes etc.)
* Help deliver targeted marketing campaigns, that include both traditional and digital communication methods (point of sale, literature, website, direct mail, email and social media)
* Provide support to our national distribution partners as well as bespoke local area marketing support to the sales team (trade days, exhibitions, promotional activity etc.)
* Help with in-house design when required, using design tools to create assets ranging from social media posts, email campaigns, bespoke literature and technical datasheets and product packaging files
* Supporting the training team to shoot, edit and deliver video content and live training sessions
Experience and Qualifications
* Degree level qualification beneficial: ideally Marketing or Business (with marketing specialism’s)
* At least 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing role
* CIM professional qualifications and/or membership (beneficial, not mandatory)
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent creative, design and copywriting skills
* Ability to demonstrate excellent time and project management skills
* Knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools (social media, video etc.)
* Highly literate in core computer programs (Office)
* Experience in market and customer insight
* Ability to work in cross functional teams
