This is a significant post within the Procurement Department. The role reports to the Head of Procurement and leads on the effectiveness and efficiency of all aspects of operational and tactical purchasing activity, including procurement systems that underpin this activity. A key aspect of the role is building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure that systems, processes and services are tailored to meet end users’ requirements and support patient care.
Responsibilities
* Lead on the effectiveness and efficiency of all aspects of operational and tactical purchasing activity, including procurement systems.
* Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to tailor systems, processes and services to meet end users’ requirements and support patient care.
* Drive improvements to the Purchase to Pay process and related procurement activities.
* Collaborate with the wider Procurement team and Health Board functions to ensure value for money and efficient service delivery.
Qualifications and requirements
* Senior level experience in procurement and systems management (as implied by the role).
* Mid-Senior level seniority; Full-time employment.
