We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Southern Water team based in Kent, Sussex, Hampshire. Location: Kent, Sussex, Hampshire – remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required. Hours: 40 hours per week, with some flexibility on hours available if desired. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Join our dynamic team and take the lead on exciting water and wastewater projects across the Southern Water portfolio. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee design and build activities from conception through to handover, working collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and your site teams to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities
* Lead projects from initial conception through to successful handover, ensuring delivery excellence at every stage.
* Build and nurture collaborative relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
* Manage site teams and ensure the highest health and safety standards are maintained throughout.
* Oversee all commercial aspects including P&L responsibility, accurate forecasting, and margin enhancement.
* Co‑ordinate resources, review project plans, and monitor progress to ensure smooth delivery.
Qualifications
* Relevant degree (or equivalent) with experience in regulated utilities, infrastructure, or the built environment sector.
* Strong relationship‑building skills and a proven track record of exceeding client expectations.
* Excellent NEC3/NEC4 contractual and commercial awareness.
* Experience in subcontract administration and managing diverse teams effectively.
* Full driving licence and thorough understanding of current Health & Safety legislation.
