A wonderfully led and resourced Primary School in Stanford-le-Hope are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join them in after the February half-term on a full-time basis to work with children who have additional needs and need additional nurturing and support to make their school experience as positive as possible!

** Long-term contract with the view of going permanent
** £88-£100 per day (DOE)
** Term Time Only (Monday - Friday 8:30am-3:30pm)

This primary school is located in Stanford-le-Hope with excellent transport links so coming to work should be quite straight forward - there is also a staff car park for those who drive.
This primary school are seeking a Teaching Assistant that has a fantastic willingness to learn and has a real desire to work with children with additional needs/ SEN.
They can offer excellent training and support no matter of your experience. As long as you are passionate and have a drive to make a difference, this primary school will support you. They can also pave a pathway to a long-term career in working with children with SEN such as Teacher training, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Social work to name a few careers!
For this Teaching Assistant role in Stanford-le-Hope, this primary school are open to graduates as well as experienced Teaching Assistants.
Experience of supporting any of the following needs would be an advantage:

* Autism (ASD)
* Asperger Syndrome
* Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH)
* Global Delay
* Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
* Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
* Challenging Behaviour
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Would:
Have a genuine passionate working with children with SEN
Driven to improve the education and life chances of children and young people
Be able to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
Be a positive role model and offer encouragement & promote confidence
Assist with planning of activities with class teacher & SENCO
