Qualifications:
Graduate Engineer, HND/HNC or equivalent, or suitable industry experience.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in a construction/HVAC engineering contracting environment. Experience in cleanrooms, laboratories, healthcare, & life sciences environments would be advantageous.

Job Summary:
To accurately price design, build, and turnkey healthcare projects at enquiry stage. To assist in procurement of materials, equipment, and sub-contractors at project execution stage, expanding and developing our existing supply chain. This is a new role, and we seek a candidate who can review and improve the existing estimating function with support from the Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Review with the estimate and design team the scope of enquiry, site survey information, or specific project details.
2. Prepare a bid programme with key dates for enquiries, pricing, adjudication, etc.
3. Review tender documents and scope of proposal with Contracts Manager.
4. Check terms and conditions of potential contracts.
5. Send out enquiries for materials, equipment, and sub-contracts.
6. Prepare all documents to be returned with tenders.
7. Liaise with the estimate and design team on pricing and technical issues.
8. Use standard quotation templates for submissions where applicable.
9. Prepare and price contractors' preliminaries.
10. Complete estimate cost sheets and adjudication reports for the estimating team.
11. Finalize tender documents after adjudication.
12. Ensure all required information is provided and tender documents are delivered on time.
13. Organize and file all tender-related information.
14. Assist in developing a robust internal estimating system.
15. Support the sales department in standard quotation documentation.
16. Interpret detailed or poorly defined information to make accurate judgments.
17. Develop the MAT supply chain by reviewing potential new suppliers and sub-contractors.
18. Assist with site surveys for technical proposals.
19. Negotiate and purchase materials, equipment, and services, processing purchase orders for Project Managers.
