Are you a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new role this January? A welcoming specialist school in Hayes is seeking a skilled TA to join their dedicated team supporting children with a range of complex learning needs.
About the School
The school provides high-quality education for pupils with Autism (ASC), Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), communication needs, and sensory processing differences. Classes are small, highly structured, and supported by a multidisciplinary team, ensuring every child receives individualised care and learning.
The Role
As a SEN TA, you will:

Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to meet EHCP targets
*
Assist with communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC (training provided)
*
Provide emotional and behavioural regulation support using therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches
*
Help deliver sensory activities, structured routines, and differentiated learning
*
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
*
Create a safe, engaging, and positive environment for pupils with additional needs
About You
*
Experience supporting children with SEN (ASC, SLD, MLD, communication or sensory needs)
*
Calm, patient, and proactive approach
*
Strong teamwork and communication skills
*
Reliable and committed to supporting vulnerable learners
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply via Uniform Education)
