About the Role
Adore Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading high-end design and production company in their search for a skilled Technical Designer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for design, innovation, and technical detail. You will be working on a variety of top-tier projects, from concept to completion, collaborating with a creative team and bringing complex designs to life.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications for bespoke design projects.
* Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and project requirements.
* Use CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to produce accurate designs and revisions.
* Support the development and implementation of production plans, ensuring smooth transitions from design to manufacturing.
* Manage technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Troubleshoot design challenges and provide technical solutions in collaboration with project managers and other teams.
* Participate in meetings with clients to understand project scope and technical requirements.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Technical Designer or in a similar design‑related role.
* Strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
* Background in carpentry, joinery, engineering or similar fields, with an understanding of project construction processes.
* Experience working on high‑end, luxury, bespoke design projects.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* Ability to problem‑solve and manage design challenges effectively.
* A creative and technical mindset, with a passion for design innovation.
