Service Charge Analyst\n Location: Croydon (Hybrid Working Available)\n Rate: £22.42 PAYE - £26.76 per hour (LTD)\nWe are currently working on behalf of a well-established housing provider who is looking for an experienced Service Charge Analyst to join their team in Croydon. Reporting directly to the Service Charge Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to support the transformation of service charge delivery while ensuring a high-quality service to residents and stakeholders.\nThe Role:\n You will be responsible for accurately calculating, constructing, and issuing both estimated and actualised service charges, with a particular focus on complex cases. Your work will ensure full recoverability of costs in line with legal, contractual, and policy requirements.
You’ll act as a key point of contact for service charge payers, resolving complex queries and supporting internal teams in complaint resolution.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead on the calculation and issuance of service charges, ensuring compliance and accuracy.\nProvide expert, customer-focused responses to complex service charge queries.\nSupport the development and standardisation of service charge systems and processes.\nPartner with internal teams and budget holders to ensure accurate allocation of costs.\nContribute to the integration of legacy systems and development of best practices.\nAttend resident meetings, development stage reviews, and First Tier Tribunal hearings where required.\nContinuously identify improvements in service charge calculation and communication to residents.About You:\n\nProven experience in residential and commercial service charge management.\nStrong understanding of current legislation and sector best practice.\nExcellent financial, analytical, and organisational skills.\nComfortable engaging with residents, internal teams, and external stakeholders.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nA collaborative and customer-first approach to service delivery.If you’re passionate about improving housing services and have a solid background in service charge management, we’d love to hear from you.\nContact me on (url removed) or (phone number removed)
