Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.

* Assessment Design: Competence in designing and grading rigorous examinations, coursework, and practical programming assessments.
Core Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver highly effective A Level Computer Science lessons across all components of the course.
* Accurately assess, monitor, record, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
* Actively contribute to the ongoing development and resourcing of the departmental curriculum.
* Enforce and maintain high expectations for student conduct and academic performance in line with school policy.
* Participate fully in departmental meetings, training sessions, and whole‑school Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
* Implement targeted intervention strategies to ensure all students achieve their maximum potential.
* Foster a safe, stimulating, and positive learning atmosphere in the classroom and IT labs.
* Act as a tutor, offering pastoral support and guidance to a designated group of students.
* Proactively engage with parents/carers regarding student progress and well‑being.
