Service Transition Manager
Atrium EMEA are seeking an experienced Service Transition Manager to take ownership of the service design and transition process, supporting the smooth transfer of products and applications from programme delivery into BAU service support and operations at an enterprise level.
Location:
Cheshire – 2 days per week onsite (mandatory requirement
Day Rate:
Up to £460 per day (inside IR35)
Contract Length:
12 months initial contract
Key Requirements:
* Recent experience within enterprise-level financial services
is essential.
* Must live within a
commutable distance to Cheshire
(max. 1–1.5 hours). The client will not consider candidates based further away.
What you'll do:
* Lead the service transition process from project delivery to steady-state operations.
* Coordinate acceptance, release, deployment, and early life support.
* Define and validate service requirements, ensuring documentation and security standards are met.
* Work closely with project teams, service owners, support groups, and stakeholders.
* Promote ITSM best practice and agile ways of working.
What we're looking for:
* 5+ years in IT service environments within complex organisations.
* Strong ITIL knowledge (Incident, Change, Release Management).
* Proven experience developing and embedding support models.
* Solid understanding of architecture solutions (Cloud, SaaS, on-premise).
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable:
* ITIL Certification (ideally Service Transition).
* ServiceNow and DevOps exposure.
