Job Description:
The Global Nonstop Sales Team at HPE is looking to recruit an Industrial Placement Intern to work alongside our Global Sales Director, EMEA & LATAM General Manager and our Global Sales Strategy and Planning lead, operationally supporting them and the sales forecasting process across the region. If successful, you will work alongside the Nonstop Sales Leadership and the EMEA & Latin America sales and pre-sales team spread across the region that is driven to achieve results.

How you’ll make your mark:
1. You will provide support the HPE NonStop Sales Team both with a Global perspective but also in more detail across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America as a key team member reporting directly to both the Global Sales Director and the General Manager of NonStop EMEA and Latin America
2. You will learn about the Mission Critical Market and HPE’s high end NonStop solutions business, how to engage with customers, business partners and internal stakeholders and ultimately to gain an understanding of the way in which the sales operation and sales cycle works.
3. You will support both the NonStop Sales & Nonstop Business Unit teams with regular reporting and opportunity management tasks including management of the business forecast, order tracking, and end of quarter revenue reconciliation tasks
4. You will assist the Sales team with sales related tasks and projects, including the potential to play a role in customer facing marketing events and customer visits in conjunction with the sales team
5. You have the desire to continually evolve and grow, you will be given the opportunity to make a difference within the organisation, taking on tasks with real business-focus, and owning critical responsibilities – ultimately giving you the opportunity to demonstrate you are an asset to the business
About you
6. Potential interns must be in their 2nd year of a four-year degree which requires (or has an option for) 3rd year to be a one year's industrial placement, and are expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 grade
7. You demonstrate a methodical approach with strong analytical skills
8. You are proficient in Excel and have working knowledge of MS Office;
9. You seek out what’s next, always three steps ahead and delivering exceptional results
10. You are collaborative, solution focused and act with a sense of urgency
11. You embrace new ideas and fresh thinking and seek out ideas different than your own
12. You are an active person on campus who strives to make a positive impact on the world.
