Job Title\: Governance and Process Advisor (Edgewing) Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role. Job Description: This role supports the Process & Governance Manager in developing and improving programme processes to meet required standards, as well as establishing a governance framework that enables effective process definition, execution, and implementation, alongside the overall programme governance model. Core duties: Develop and implement consistent governance processes Ensure processes, procedures, guidelines, and work instructions are clearly defined, mapped, and controlled through configuration and change management Work with the Internal Assurance team to monitor compliance Support ongoing improvements to processes Contribute to the development of a strategic roadmap for PM&C operational capability Essential Skills: Experience developing governance frameworks, models, standards, process templates, and review cycles Experience designing, implementing, and improving processes across projects and programmes Working knowledge of compliance standards (e.g. ISO) Familiarity with business management systems and standard Office tools used for process development and management Previous experience in a project management environment or a relevant qualification The Edgewing Team: By joining Edgewing, you will have a unique opportunity to help shape the company from the ground up — setting the foundations for generations to come, influencing how we work, and helping us build something world-class together.
