Qualified Dental Nurse to join us at our lovely mixed practice, Dental Beauty Basildon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and family‑orientated practice team, and work in a dual nursing & reception capacity.
You will be joining a fantastic team of clinicians and support staff, led by our Partner Dr. Nik Sethi, who all work together in harmony to deliver a brilliant patient journey. The practice is very accessible via public transport, close to ... and with parking nearby.
The working hours for this position are:
Monday-Friday 8.30AM-5.30PM
Key Responsibilities
* Perform high quality dental nursing support in assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures in a safe and effective manner
* Providing receptionist support to ensure our patients have an excellent experience
* Maintain professional indemnity and registration with the GDC & Undertaking CPD in line with these guidelines
* Assist with reception duties and perform other clerical duties as and when required
* To act as an ambassador for DBP company Vision, Ethos and Values; maintaining productive working relationships with all members of the dental team
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* We are ideally looking for a Qualified Dental Nurse, but may also consider a Dental Nurse near to the end of their training course
* Experience with receptionist duties is also desirable, but training can be provided if not
* GDC Registration, or close to obtaining is ideally required for this position
* Experience supporting a variety of general, cosmetic & restorative dental treatment is highly desirable
* Dentally software experience is preferred but not essential
* Ensuring CQC requirements are met at all times
* Experience in providing exceptional patient care/customer service
