Are you a passionate and motivated Computer Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Stoke-on-Trent? ABC Teachers are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Supply Teachers to join our team, delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students across local secondary schools. About the role As a Computer Science Supply Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5, if applicable). Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and curiosity in computing. Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Contribute to the academic and personal development of students. Have access to both short-term cover opportunities and long-term roles that match your preferences and experience. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain experience across a range of secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. About the school You will be working with a variety of secondary schools and academies in Stoke-on-Trent, ranging from Ofsted-rated Good and Outstanding schools to growing academies that are investing in digital learning. These schools: Value innovation and promote digital literacy across all subjects. Offer supportive environments for teachers, including mentoring and development opportunities. Provide modern ICT suites and well-equipped classrooms to enhance practical computing lessons. Foster a collaborative atmosphere among staff, encouraging professional growth and creativity. Requirements To be considered for the role of Computer Science Teacher you will: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a specialism in Computer Science or ICT. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology, coding, and digital learning. The ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one). Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to teaching. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a specialism in Computer Science or ICT.
