We are looking for a Health & Safety Administrator to join a busy automotive operation based in Sheerness. This role will be based within the site’s Technical Centre and will involve a combination of administrative duties alongside supporting site Health & Safety compliance.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is also comfortable carrying out basic Health & Safety checks across a large, busy site.
The Role:
1. Supporting the site with Health & Safety administration and compliance checks.
2. Conducting routine inspections across the site to ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained.
3. Checking fire alarms and ensuring equipment is functioning correctly.
4. Inspecting PPE and ensuring staff are wearing the correct safety equipment.
5. Assisting with annual health tests and ensuring records are kept up to date.
6. Checking safety footwear and high-visibility clothing compliance.
7. Monitoring site parking standards and reporting any issues.
8. Maintaining accurate records and supporting the wider team with administrative duties.
What We're Looking For:
9. Previous Health & Safety experience.
10. Previous administration experience.
11. Strong attention to detail.
12. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
13. Ability to work using your own initiative and manage workload effectively.
