Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various construction trades and be capable of executing a range of building tasks. Duties
* Construct, repair, and maintain structures using various building materials.
* Perform masonry work including bricklaying and stonework.
* Carry out electrical installations and repairs as required.
* Weld components together for structural integrity and durability.
* Plumb fixtures and fittings to ensure proper installation and functionality.
* Fabricate custom components as per project specifications.
* Execute painting tasks to finish surfaces with attention to detail.
* Work as a carpenter, constructing frameworks, roofs, and other structural elements.
* Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential.
* Strong skills in masonry, electrical work, welding, plumbing, fabrication, painting, carpentry, and roofing are highly desirable.
* Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools is required.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is an advantage.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
* A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are essential.
