**Job Overview**We are currently seeking a Showroom Team Leader for our busy Portree Showroom. The candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service with team management skills. You will provide support to the showroom manager, organise stock and assist with displays. **Key Responsibility*** Assist the manager with people management, product merchandising and the safety & security of the showroom.* Manage the department when the line manager is absent.* Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers.* Deliver excellent presentation standards.* Deliver excellent customer service.* Review, record and resolve customer complaints.* Ensure the stock file is kept accurate.* Ensure price labels are replaced regularly in line with price changes and stock rotation is done where necessary.* Identify sales prospects for development.* Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.* Engage with the team day to day and through organised Toolbox talks.* Support and coach other team members as necessary.* Manage cash and payment systems.* Arranging specialist and/or equipment showroom displays **Skills and Experience** * Experience in a Team Leader or supervisory role would be beneficial.* Excellent Customer Service skills required: communicate effectively with customers – connect with the customer by being friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable – be available to deliver great service – resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely and appropriate manner.* Able to use initiative and make informed decisions.* Excellent people management skills.* Excellent numeric and literacy skills.* Good IT skills.* Excellent organisational skills.* The ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions relevant to the successful outcome and conclusion of the processes.* Ability to respond positively to new challenges and change. **Benefits*** Monday to Friday (Saturdays on Rota)* Pension Scheme* Death in Service Scheme* Employee discount* Cycle to work scheme* Discretionary annual bonus, based on company performance* Extra holiday after one year
