�? Join Our Team as a Finance Manager! �?
Are you a passionate finance professional looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to support our charity's financial operations. This temporary position is perfect for someone eager to make a difference while managing our financial activities.
?? Contract Details:
* Type: Temporary
* Duration: 4 months
* Hourly Rate: £23.50 - £26.00
* Working Pattern: Full-Time (31.5 hours/week over 5 days)
* Location: Blackfriars, Central London (4 minutes walk from City Thameslink station)
* Hybrid Working Environment: Flexibility to work from home or the office as needed!
?? Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day financial operations for the charity and its trading subsidiary.
* Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all accounts.
* Process payroll and administer the pension scheme.
* Monitor compliance with HMRC regulations, including VAT and tax returns.
* Produce monthly management accounts and share insights with budget holders.
* Maintain cash flow forecasting for the upcoming year.
* Prepare management accounts for the October board meetings.
* Provide support and guidance to the Finance Officer.
* Handover smoothly to the incoming Finance Manager in October.
�? What We're Looking For:
* An accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in managing financial operations, planning, reconciliation, and reporting.
* Strong knowledge of financial governance and accounting best practises.
* Experience coordinating income and expenditure across multiple project budgets.
* Proficiency in using and enhancing IT systems within a finance department.
* A business partnering mindset and the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial colleagues.
