The Site Security Controller is a key role at Northrop Grumman, responsible for managing and maintaining information and physical security policies, processes, procedures, and activities related to certification for our HM Government sponsored facilities. You will be a true business enabler, ensuring our staff, capabilities, facilities, and clients are safe, secure, and operational. Security is central to our work, and the Site Security Controller will be crucial for our growth in the UK.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as the lead security representative for the facility, advising and supporting staff across business units on security matters, including regional satellite offices.
2. Lead communication regarding security policies on site, fostering collaboration across units.
3. Maintain and improve security instructions and procedures.
4. Manage facility on-call rotas, ensuring workspace availability and out-of-hours response.
5. Liaise with the vetting manager to maintain access clearance records.
6. Support the UK and EMEA security functions as needed.
7. Manage risk and accreditation documentation for the facility.
8. Monitor adherence to security procedures and communicate changes or breaches to governance bodies.
9. Ensure effectiveness of security controls and develop them in line with business activities.
10. Lead security interactions with customers and clients, representing Northrop Grumman.
11. Support facility operations with security considerations to ensure continued availability and accreditation.
12. Occasional overnight travel within the UK may be required.

We are looking for:
* Experience in information and/or physical security control in a Defence or Government setting, familiar with relevant guidance and policies.
* Proven experience developing security policies and standards.
* Experience as a senior security representative with significant responsibilities.
* Successful leadership in security change initiatives, with a collaborative and strategic approach.
Security clearance:
