Interim Facilities Manager
Purpose of the Job
Providing leadership, management and development of a defined contract, ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and ensure contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
* Ensure opportunities for strategic development of the contract are exploited to deliver increased turnover and profitability, adding services and projects and re‑winning contracts on re‑tenders.
* Ensure business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within the contract.
* Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both client and company health and safety policy is effectively implemented across CBRE and subcontractor activities, including regular review and management of eLogbooks.
* Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across contracts, balancing cost reduction with the delivery of service excellence, supporting peaks and troughs in workload and disaster recovery.
* Ensure contracts are staffed by fully competent teams, with effective succession planning arrangements in place.
* Work with site stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach and deliver the agreed scope set out in the service activity matrix.
* Develop contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduce WIP and debt, achieve cost reduction, and conduct monthly performance reviews to meet and exceed targets.
* Ensure appropriate control systems are in place to meet statutory, policy and contractual commitments.
* Maintain a customer focus within all operational activities and sustain effective relationships with key client contacts.
* Promote and maintain the core values of CBRE RISE values.
* Provide leadership, guidance, coaching and support to deliver best practice selection, training, assessment and recognition/reward.
* Deliver effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad‑hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate.
* Provide a learning environment and appropriate training and development planning; ensure basic training needs are delivered and employees are fully competent for their roles.
* Ensure KPI’s and OPIs are met and reported monthly.
