The Bedford Hotel Belfast, operated by Focus Hotels Management, seeks a skilled and driven Finance Assistant who thrives in a luxury hospitality setting. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain financial records and ensure they are up to date and organised. Assist with payroll processing and reconciling payroll reports. Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and resolve discrepancies. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Contribute to the overall financial efficiency and effectiveness of the hotel. Key Requirements Customer service experience, at both internal and external stakeholder level. Attention to detail and strong numerical skills to ensure accurate financial data. IT proficiency, particularly with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. Qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not essential. Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is advantageous.
