I have an EXCITING role that is split with 14 hours of Managing the service and 21 hours of hands-on experience. You will be working alongside an experienced service manager developing your skills.
I am recruiting several CARING and PASSIONATE Senior Support Workers to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. The service, which is located in Colwyn Bay supports adults aged between 18 - 65.
The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.
* Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
* Hours: Full Time 40 hours a week
* Contract: Permanent
* Shifts: Monday- Friday with one weekend day shift every 4 weeks (Sat or Sun)
* Location: Colwyn Bay

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for the following:
* Support the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
* Planning rotas, management of staff teams,
* Ensuring compliance within the service.
* Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
* Ensuring the safety of the service users.
* Following care plans for each individual.
* Taking service users out into the community.
* Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
* Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements:
* NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willing to work towards Level 3
* Senior Support Worker Experience
* Must be resilient.
* Drivers ESSENTIAL due to the nature of the role
* Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
