About Our Client

Job Description
3. You will be required to carry out daily mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery and production equipment
4. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise production downtime
5. Complete scheduled maintenance tasks safely, to standard, and on time
6. Identify and implement engineering improvements that enhance reliability, performance, and efficiency
7. Support production during shift with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
8. Communicate clearly with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure effective coordination and decision-making
9. Execute planned and preventive maintenance activities in line with the maintenance plan to maximise asset reliability and longevity
10. Support proactive improvement activities, identifying recurring issues and contributing to root cause analysis and reliability improvements
11. Collaborate closely with Operations and Manufacturing teams to prioritise maintenance activities that support production continuity

The Successful Applicant
12. Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering techniques.
13. Knowledge of site services, CIP, refrigeration, steam boilers, water and effluent monitoring are desirable but not essential.
14. NVQ Level 3 Qualified at a minimum
15. Experience of working in reactive maintenance roles
16. Strong interpersonal skills: a team player who is prepared to support fellow engineers and can also develop good relationships with colleagues in departments across the business.
