Hamilton Woods are working exclusively with a well-established business within Leicester in an exciting industry.
This position will play a vital role in overseeing the businesses financial health and supporting strategic decision-making. The key focus will be to ensure accurate and timely financial data is provided to support the businesses goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a passion for combining finance expertise within a dynamic industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Knowledge & experience of performing month end procedures.
* Prepare detailed budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
* Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or performance improvement.
* Demonstrates honesty, integrity and the ability to ensure confidentiality at all times.
* Friendly, well organised with the ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
* Works within a team environment, co-operates with others to achieve group objectives.
* Ability to work autonomously on own initiative and pro-active in managing own time.
* Business partnering experience – effectively communicating with non-financial stakeholders.
* Production of quarterly VAT return.
* Managing the accuracy and maintenance of the groups cash flow forecasting model.
* Building an understanding of the internal and external environment in order to deliver work in a highly effective and professional manner.
Essential Skills:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* Knowledge of SAP would be desirable.
* Highly proficient on Excel including Pivot Tables, Lookups & formulas
* Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience, 2-3 years in a Management Accountant role.
* Posses strong time management skills and have a flexible approach to work.
