Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and have some dental knowledge - providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner.
* Answer incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel or taking messages as necessary.
* Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
* Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments & managing calendars.
* Assist with correspondence, including emails and postal mail.
* Provide general information about the dental practice services and respond to inquiries from patients Via email.
* Collaborate with all members of staff to ensure smooth communication.
* Perform any additional duties as required to support the team.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in an administrative or office role is preferred but not essential.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
* A friendly disposition with a customer-focused attitude.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a dynamic work environment.
