What does the role involve? Reporting to our General Manager, CEO Office & Sustainability, we have a unique opportunity for a Japanese Speaking Assistant to join us on a part-time basis (3-4 days per week) on a fixed-term contract of 12 months. In this role, you'll provide assistance and administrative support in Japanese and English to stakeholders up to Executive level. Based in our Staines office, you'll gain insight into various activities that will enhance your knowledge of Novuna and give you a broad view of the company's operations. You'll also collaborate with our wider Sustainability team, offering many learning opportunities and the chance to make a real impact.

Some of your key duties will include:

1. Diary management to ensure optimal scheduling for the General Manager of CEO Office & Sustainability
2. Organising all external visits, including travel bookings, expense submissions, and meeting arrangements
3. Supporting committees and key stakeholders by organising meetings, drafting agendas, sharing papers, and updating action logs
4. Building relationships with key stakeholders across Novuna and our parent company

What are we looking for? We seek an individual proficient in speaking and writing in Japanese and English. Ideally, you will have some commercial experience in an administrative or assistant role, including travel booking systems. Additionally, we're looking for:

* Good knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks
* Accuracy and attention to detail
