Role context

Are you ready to play a key role in driving the success of regional partnerships and shaping regional integration of health and care in Gwent? As an Assistant Programme Manager, you will be an essential member of the Gwent Regional Partnership Board Support Team (PMO) within the ABUHB Corporate Planning team. Our team is based in St Cadocs Hospital in Caerleon, and you will be working at our office and from home. The Assistant Programme Manager is a key member of the Gwent Regional Partnership Board (RPB) Support Team (PMO), part of the Planning Team. The team delivers a portfolio management function for the Gwent RPB. The RPB brings together the Health Board, local authorities and the third sector to meet the care and support needs of people in Gwent. It receives revenue funding of over £25 million per year across a range of funding streams to improve the wellbeing of key population groups, and to improve how health and care services are delivered.


Responsibilities

* Provide project and programme management leadership with a focus on adults.
* Lead and oversee projects and programmes funded via the RPB's revenue streams; monitor the set budget to ensure deliverables enhance services and demonstrate impact for the population of Gwent.
* Plan projects and programmes to achieve objectives, maximise benefits, and ensure funding drives service improvements.
* Engage stakeholders to define priorities, scope and implementation processes.
* Assist partners in developing performance indicators and measurable outcomes for effective reporting.
* Work closely with the Performance Analyst to manage a reporting function, maximise data use, and create performance dashboards.


Requirements and language

* The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
* Location: St Cadocs Hospital, Caerleon; flexible working options are supported.
