About the Role
1. Location: Doncaster
2. Commercial Vehicle Experience required
3. Salary: £50,096
4. Hours: 37.5 hour week Monday - Friday
What will I be doing?
5. This role will require you to oversee the entire workshop operation, including managing a team of experienced fitting staff who require leadership, motivation and development from you. You will need to develop a close working relationship with the operational business units which your workshop supports.
6. This management position demands that you have a good solid financial awareness; which will include monitoring financial performance against budget and playing an active role in budget preparation.
7. Also you will need to be able to suggest and implement ways to improve financial performance, such as identifying additional revenue opportunities and cost reduction measures.
8. Within your control will be workshop loading and ensuring that we have maximum vehicle availability and reliability at all times. You will be working against a service level agreement and also against SUEZ Fleet standard benchmarks.
What are the requirements?
9. With a minimum 5 years post NVQ practical experience, some of which must be in a supervisory role.
10. Highly skilled across all areas of vehicle maintenance and servicing, with experience supporting, mentoring and developing a small team of workshop staff.
11. To have full H&S, Budgetary and P&L responsibility for the workshop.
12. Must hold a full UK driving licence.
