We are searching for an exceptionally motivated and passionate Account Manager to drive sales and further expansion of Baxter’s Anaesthesia business within greater London area (mid England). Anaesthesia within Baxter is in an exciting position to drive innovation into the market. Collaboration with the wider sales team, commercial and medical functions will allow you to have insight and possibilities to influence marketing, pricing, and market access activities, you’ll be instrumental in driving the business forward. You’ll enjoy being in front of a crowd presenting and thrive when you are negotiating with prospects. You will have strong social and communication skills, both written and oral and are quick to understand and adapt – especially when our customers’ needs change. The Territory covers the central region from Birmingham, Worcester, Leicester, Peterborough, Northampton, Oxford, Norwich, Cambridge, Ipswich, Luton, Chelmsford and London Essential Duties and Responsibilities Promotion of our Anaesthesia product portfolio including daily customer visits/interactions, also remote, and clinical training. You will be responsible for developing and maintain a good, long-term working relationship with customers along with expanding existing accounts within your own region (purchasers, doctors, nurses, technician’s, heads of department and administrators, environmental consultants) Participate in developing strategic plans for the products and related services and setting goals based on this together with the responsible manager. Achieving sales targets and implementing sales strategies to attain sales volume, customer growth and customer satisfaction for the portfolio. Build new relationships within your territory. Preparation and implementation of targeted account plans; you will propose and provide each customer with appropriate solutions that will increase opportunities both for the customer and for Baxter. Including pre-tender strategies and tactics. You will deliver effective sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information and demonstrations, and pricing quotes to prospects. Monitor competitive activities, communicate intelligence to the marketing team and collaborate in the definition of defense strategies. Acquire and deploy therapeutic and application expertise to increase adoption and market penetration of new product launches. Qualifications / skills Curious disposition, with business acumen and proactive approach Understanding of the Anaesthesia therapy is preferred. Strong negotiation skills with good knowledge about the health care system and the relevant partners involved in the selling and tender/contract processes. A genuine drive for sales with an excellent understanding of strategic account development Adaptable, solid communication, collaboration and strong team building skills. Selling, educating, and informing is natural to you and you are easy to create and develop long-term relationship. Bachelor's degree or eqv healthcare sales experience Driver’s license is required.
