MP Filtri is an engineering product manufacturer and distributor based in Evesham, in a state of the art facility. Due to growth and new products a Production Technician is required to assemble our Contamination Monitoring Products (CMP) to meet production targets. The role will follow work instructions to assemble. and you will have previous assembly and hand tool experience. You will be enthusiastic, able to meet deadlines and have a passion for building things.
Duties and responsibilities for the Production Technician role are:
* Following works instructions and standard operating procedures to build a wide variety of modules and finished goods and services supplied by MP Filtri. Ensuring product is built to a high standard and work instructions are followed.
* Report any issues in build to their Line Manager and the engineering department.
* Calibrate finished products to a high standard prior to QC checks before despatch.
* Build replenishment stocks. Examples may include but not limited to pumps, flush valves wiring looms and general assembly work.
* Advise supplies and materials requirements needed to the Production Planner.
* Follow 5S procedure. Clean and assist with upkeep of the lines and facility.
* Take part in any stock takes within CMP as and when required.
* Perform other related duties as assigned related to CMP.
* Assist in other CMP areas if called upon to do so, such as service.
The Person:
The Production Technician will have:
* Previous experience within an assembly or production environment.
* Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Previous soldering experience is desirable.
* Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
* Able to update Excel spreadsheets.
* Previous calibration experience is desirable.
