Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. HCPC registration as a therapeutic radiographer
2. BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy or equivalent accredited programme
Desirable criteria
3. Formal evidence of post registration study
Experience
Essential criteria
4. Demonstrate experience in using equipment associated with pre-treatment including CT scanners, virtual simulation software and clinical mark up
5. Cannulation trained / experience In administering IV contrast media
6. Mould Room / experience in the manufacture of immobilisation devices
7. Evidence of continuing education and professional development
8. Post registration experience of using sophisticated radiotherapy equipment. Treating patients using advanced techniques and competence in IGRT and IMRT technologies (4)
Desirable criteria
9. Participation in the planning of specialised techniques, ie 4DCT, vDIBH, SGRT, SABR
10. Radiographer lead breast planning/contouring
Skills
Essential criteria
11. Evidence of ability to lead and motivate team members
12. Evidence of coaching and mentorship
13. Evidence of ability to deal with anxious and demanding individuals using diplomacy and persuasion.
14. Evidence of effective communication across multi-disciplinary teams using both writtten and verbal communication
15. Able to demonstrate ability and willingness to take decisions and problem solve

16. Evidence of management capability
17. Display strong organisational and time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
18. Demonstrable ability to work in a busy environment and cope when the service is under pressure
