Vigilant Security is offering an exciting opportunity for a security professional to join our team in Essex.
Scope:
This is a permanent contract, working on a 4 on 4 off, night shift, Monday - Friday: 1700 - 0800 & Saturday - Sunday 1900 - 0700.
The pay rate is £13.85 per hour.
The post holder (SIA license) will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day security requirements at a strategically important site, maintaining a corporate image and high standards of professionalism.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide a prompt, polite, and warm welcome to all visitors.
2. Anticipate clients' needs/problems before they arise and that their expectations are met and exceeded each day.
3. Be seen as a visible customer-focused professional greeting and engaging with visitors.
4. Provide a consistent professional service at all times.
5. Communicate visitor/client arrivals to the relevant person promptly.
6. Maintain high security awareness at all times.
7. Undertake patrols and inspections in accordance with management instructions.
8. Proficient use of relevant communication equipment will require good communication skills.
9. Ensure all H&S policies are adhered to.
10. Ensure that no un-authorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.
11. Issue visitor passes using agreed processes and procedures.
12. Maintain an accurate record of any incidents that occur.
What We Are Looking For:
1. Must have a full Clean Driving License.

5. Immaculate presentation.
6. Clear, concise, and confident communication skills which are customer service oriented with a keen eye for detail.
7. Maintain and practice a high degree of confidentiality at all times.
8. Computer literate.
9. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Able to be vetted back 5 years or since leaving compulsory education.
11. Provide support to the wider team when required.
12. Current SIA license.
13. Job role is out of hours residential Security Officer, DS license is required. CCTV license is a bonus.
14. Experience desired.
