Overview
We are seeking a skilled multi-trade carpenter to carry out a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and installation works across social housing properties. The role requires strong carpentry skills alongside the ability to undertake additional trades to ensure high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery.
Responsibilities
* Carry out all aspects of carpentry repairs, maintenance, and installations as a multi-trade carpenter in both occupied and void properties.
* Deliver a variety of secondary trade works, including basic plumbing, plastering, tiling, and painting, to provide a comprehensive repairs service.
* Work flexibly as a multi-trade carpenter, ensuring jobs are completed to a high standard, first time, and with minimal disruption to tenants.
* Maintain safe working practices in line with health & safety legislation, including completing risk assessments where required.
* Accurately record job details, time, and materials using handheld devices or job sheets.
* Represent the organisation professionally, providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong tenant relationships.
* Support colleagues and supervisors in delivering an efficient, cost-effective repairs service across the housing stock.
* Participate in out-of-hours and emergency call-out rotas as part of the multi-trade carpenter role.
