We are hiring for several roles within our Teacher Education team. This is a full-time, tenurable appointment available at either Level B or Level C, depending on the successful applicant’s qualifications, experience and achievements. Base salary range: Level B, $118,150 – $139,812 and Level C, $144,143 - $165,809 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation. About the opportunity Deliver and coordinate high-quality teaching in Secondary Science Education across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including offshore initiatives, while contributing to curriculum development and assessment design. Build a strong research profile through publications and grants, and provide supervision for Honours, Masters, and doctoral students in Science Education. Participate in School governance, strategic planning, and external partnerships, while supporting inclusion, diversity, and professional standards within and beyond the University. About you A completed doctorate in the field of Education or a closely related field. Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative high quality teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses. Demonstrated ability to teach online or in flexible modes. Demonstrated record of teaching in Science in a secondary teacher education course. A demonstrable track record in excellence in research evidenced by peer-reviewed journal articles published in high quality journals relative to opportunity. Demonstrate evidence of successful supervision or co-supervision of HDR students, relative to opportunity. Demonstrable experience of participation in professional and scholarly activities engagements that promote research and/or education outcome, government and industry.
