Job Role Overview
As a Flexible Bank Care Assistant, your role is to provide essential personal care and support to individuals across a variety of shifts, helping them maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and supporting personal hygiene
* Assisting with meals, drinks, and light household tasks
* Offering companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
* Prompting or administering medication in line with individual care plans
* Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on-call team
* Travelling between service users within Swadlincote (fuel allowance provided)
* Working flexible bank shifts, including weekdays and weekends, as needed

Pay Rates
Non-Qualified Carers:
* Weekdays: £14.18 per hour
* Weekends: £14.57 per hour
Qualified Carers (Level 2+):
* Weekdays: £14.68 per hour
* Weekends: £15.69 per hour
(Enhanced rates may apply depending on hours worked)

Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Access to your own vehicle
* Availability for flexible shifts, including weekdays and weekends
* Caring, reliable, and compassionate nature
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Previous care experience is welcome but not essential – full training provided
