Job Title: Vehicle Sales Administrator
Location: Sinclair Skoda Newport NP10 0HE
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time
Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week working 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Position Pays: £26,910 to £28,600 depending on experience plus a performance related bonus.
The Opportunity:
As a Sales Administrator, you'll play a vital role in keeping the sales operation running smoothly. Your focus will be on managing the full administrative process for new and used vehicle sales.
You will be responsible for:
1. Managing all administrative processes relating to new and used vehicle sales
2. Preparing and processing vehicle orders, invoices, registration documents and delivery paperwork
3. Liaising with the sales team, finance providers, and external partners to ensure smooth transactions
4. Maintaining accurate records in line with brand and FCA compliance standards
5. Updating internal systems, stock records, and customer files
6. Supporting the Sales Manager with reporting, stock checks and general administrative duties
7. Ensuring all documentation is completed correctly and on time to support an exceptional customer experience.
Key requirements for the role:
8. Previous experience in a sales administration role (automotive experience highly desirable)
9. Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
10. Confident communicator who can build positive working relationships
11. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a busy environment
12. Proficiency with IT systems; experience with Kerridge/Keyloop is an advantage
13. A proactive, team-focused approach with a commitment to high standards
