His/her responsibilities generally involve the operation and functional testing of all AV and integrated conference room components and equipment. The Engineer works in cooperation with the customer's management team and AVI-SPL in support of their equipment and the user community. Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints. Perform maintenance tasks to maintain customer spaces, including, but not limited to, testing/repairing cables, testing/repairing various hardware components. Clean various AV/UCC equipment including but not limited to: camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans Responsible for job site documentation as needed. Ability to upload and download control programs. Ability to perform minor edits to control programs. Field service support of networked devices (Routers, IP Protocols, etc.) Work with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVISPL. Provide client training as needed. Adhere to and understand local safety standards for all site duties.
