Role Overview
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust offers a part‑time post in Breast Surgery, based at the Princess Anne Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Deliver care in breast surgery, including urgent and emergency breast admissions during working hours.
Appointment Information
Appointment will be made under local contractual terms and conditions of service for Trust‑appointed non‑training fellow doctors and dentists. Appropriate sponsorship (Skilled Worker) must be ensured if required.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum of 6 years of specialty training.
* Hold a relevant higher specialty examination (e.g. FRCP, FRCA, FRCS).
* Portfolio of evidence demonstrating fulfilment of progression criteria in line with the curriculum for the speciality.
Salary and Working Hours
Salary will be assessed based on experience and skills. A basic salary at a nodal pay point linked to the grade will be provided, with any additional remuneration for hours set out in the doctors’ work schedule (e.g. additional hours, weekend allowance, and enhanced pay). CPD is highly supported and encouraged, with options for study leave.
Location
Southampton is located on the south coast, with an international airport and direct train links to London.
