Our Client is a well run and expanding 2nd Tier Contractor whom are looking for an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyor to help deliver a long term framework of construction based new build and refurbishment projects in the commercial, residential and government sectors. Project typically £1million to £15 million. This is genuinely great place to work with excellent working environment.
The ideal candidate will already be working in a similar quantity surveying role on the Mechanical amd Electrical side. This is an exceptional role with an exciting company and not just about pricing but meeting clients and stakeholders on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of detailed mechanical and electrical estimates across a range of projects
* Take-offs and pricing for HVAC, pipework, plant, and associated mechanical services
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
* Creating cost plans, value engineering options, and tender submissions
* Helping with project bids
* Helping manage Quality delivery
Variations About You
* Good experience as within building services or construction
* Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and installation methods
* Experience of working with drawings, specifications, and estimating software
