The Role: To deliver exceptional guest service by supporting the daily operations of the Hotel and Spa. The Spa Facilities Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality across all spa and hotel areas, while providing knowledgeable, professional, and courteous customer care. You will contribute to the overall guest experience by ensuring smooth operations, efficient communication between departments, and a consistent focus on guest satisfaction. You will also support revenue generation by upselling services, adhering to budget targets, and assisting in the control of financial procedures. Employer workplace pension contribution. Key Responsibilities will include: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued. Monitor and maintain pool and spa areas to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Regularly test and adjust chemical levels in the pool and spa to maintain optimal water quality. Ensure all areas of the spa are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, including treatment rooms, locker rooms, and public areas. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff. Work closely with other team members to deliver seamless service and support across all relevant departments. Inform guests about spa services, treatments, and guidelines, enhancing their overall experience. Support Spa Reception with guest arrivals and departures. Address and resolve guest issues promptly and efficiently, maintaining a positive and professional manner. Personal Specification: Essentials All applicants must be over the age of 18 years old due to the nature of the role. Customer service background with strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable manner. Demonstrated interest in pool and spa quality standards. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are obtained. Desirables Previous experience in a similar role within the Spa/Hospitality industry. Relevant certifications in pool and spa management. Certification such as Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or similar is advantageous. Working Pattern: Full-time – 37.5hrs per week. 5 days a week over a 7 day period, to include weekends. Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business.
